Dental Hygienist Opportunities in Dubai

Astute Health represent a chain of privately owned Healthcare clinics in Dubai which are currently looking to hire five Dental Hygienists.
These roles are available immediately however, for the right candidates, positions can be secured and held.
Suitable candidates must:
-Hold a minimum of 3-5 years post graduate experience (this is due to obtaining a medical visa)
-Be degree educated, gained through a respected University/College entity
-Be available for an interview via Skype and ideally be able to start within 3 months
-Currently hold a licence to practice with no pending actions against your licence
The successful candidates will start their career within a busy clinic in Dubai with a working week (Sunday to Thursday) totalling 44hours per week. Over time is welcomed and paid separately (subject to availability). Bonuses are subject to agreement with the owner and commission based incentives are awarded. Diaries are managed by Hygienists and as long as the minimum 44 hours are achieved per week, the clinics are happy to allow the professional to manage their working weeks.
Benefits include a Tax Free salary along with return flights paid for. All visa and licensing fees are paid for by the clinics. Accommodation and transportation allowances are provided along with schooling fees. One month paid holidays are given per year and training and seminars are paid by the clinics direct.

Hygienist under adaptation

I am a dental hygienist qualified outside of the UK, looking for a placement to work my adaptation period to be able to register with the GDC. It requires 5 months (25 hours per week)
The adaptation period must meet the following criteria set by the GDC:

To undergo an adaptation period, the person must be registered with the GDC.

The GDC will set relevant conditions on this registration applicable as a result of an assessment of the applicant’s qualifications and professional experience.

An adaptation period can be recommended for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 2 years

An adaptation period must be full time

The person undergoing the adaptation period may receive a salary.

A registered dental professional must directly supervise the person undergoing the adaptation period.
