Hi everyone,

 We have now confirmed our full speaker line up and topics for our Hygienists and Therapists symposium and they are as follows;

Ann Gilbert

Kira Stearns - Career progression for Hygienists and Therapists

Leo Briggs - The Dento legal considerations for Hygienists and Therapists providing aesthetic treatments.

Shaun Howe - Patient behaviour, what is acceptable???

Jane Holt - Ethics for DCP's

John Stanfield - Implant care

Elaine Tilling - Oral cancer

Debbie Hemmington - Celebrating 50 years of dental therapy

Mhari Coxon - Will you still clean me, will you still treat me, when I'm 64..........74..........84???

All to be followed by a Q&A session with like minded people from your proffesion.

The show has really taken off with over 130 exhibitors confirmed all ready and everything is in place for our live theatre area, for those of you that are interested in implants we will be having live implant surgery on both days.

If you have any questions regarding any aspect of the show please do not hesitate to contact me at c.giles@closerstill media.com or on 01926 485 151 and of course I will be happy to help.

You can register for FREE tickets by clicking The Dentistry Show banner when it appears at the top of the this page.

Thanks

Charlie

Great line up Charlie...but please assure us that the soundproofing will be better in the Hygienist area next year, and please more trade stands that will appeal to us Hygienists.....

I felt really sorry for the speakers last year battling against the rest of the show noise, and poor Amanda Gallie having to  showdown with  the sound of JLS  rehearsing at at the X factor show !!

Yes you have my guarantee that all sound proofing and the AV set up will be 100% better than this year and there will be enough seats for everyone. I am working my hardest to attract more companies that appeal to Hygienists and they will all be based in or around the Hygienists/Therapists conference area.

Mmmmm JLS, can you get them in too?

Being a hygienist is one would imagine like being a proctologist: you're both trying to gain access, using gentle encouragement and reassurance, to a tight muscular orifice which the patient doesn't want you ferkling around in!Go to Top of Page

I know Charlie is only too aware of last years failings and has put his head on the block for 2010.  As you can see from the list of speakers we are supporting this event and he dare not get it wrong.  We all learn from our failings,  hopefully, and deserve a chance to put things right.

Get your bookings in place now whilst it is free, this way they get the trade stands that reflect our numbers and relevant to us.

Please do Connor I am doing my best to make next year a success, I wasn't really involved in the set up this year as I had only just started but I want to make it so good that you are talking about it until the show in 2011.

Just looking at the speaker line up for all the events, ignoring that John, Ann and myself are talking at the Hygienist symposium, what a fantastic line up.

I'm afraid I'll be popping into various bits and bobs of the show cos some of these individuals are well worth listening too. Brilliant. Hats off to you all!

Dunno what else you can do Charlie, but there are still lots of people out there that are not attending or don't know about it!

i'm going again and trying to persude the others at my place to come along, i know the practice manager was put off last year as she couldn't get into their room as it was full of dentists. i've told her to give it another chance as you are trying to rectify last years teething probs.

Thanks Happy, they will be please to know that all of our conference areas will be atleast twice the size of this years, except Aesthetic dentist as that is already a 1000 seater area.

Shaun we are going to the BDTA Kill-it  next week to drum up more registrations and we have finally started our marketing campaign yayya-hooso registrations should rocket, put that with the 2500 we have already got and we should be in for an excellent attendance. I can see though that there have only been a few registrations from the people on hereCry.
